Bāb ṣilat al-akh al-mushrik: the isnād of Ibn ʿUmar read as a worked example of muttaṣil (ḥaddathanā / samiʿtu), ʿUmar and the ḥulla siyarāʾ offered for sale, innamā yalbasu hādhihi man lā khalāqa lahu fī-l-ākhirah, the Prophet's ﷺ later gift and tabīʿuhā aw taksūhā, the garment sent to ʿUmar's non-Muslim brother in Mecca, the contrast with ribā, and al-Bukhārī's points of law (adorning oneself for Jumuʿah and the wufūd; silk ḥarām for men, ḥalāl for women; kindness to a mushrik relative).
